Lightning Shadow: Caddy! Caddy! Caddy! William Faulkner Dance Project

SATURDAY & SUNDAY, NOV 5 & 6, 2016, 3:30–5:00PM
The Venice-based dance troupe Lightning Shadow reconstructs Caddy! Caddy! Caddy!, a piece inspired by Faulkner’s Absalom, Absalom! The Sound and the Fury, and A Rose for Emily. Dancer/choreographer Oguri performs with Roxanne Steinberg, Morleigh Steinberg and other dancers. An installation by artist Hirokazu Kosaka and sound score by Paul Chavez join this production in real time, creating moments that will impact the space uniquely for each performance. Lightning Shadow will also populate the museum with installations starting at 3 p.m.

This program is organized by January Parkos Arnall, curatorial associate, Public Engagement, and MacKenzie Stevens, curatorial assistant.
