Together in Time Celebration Weekend

Celebrate the culmination of the Hammer’s two-decade transformation and the naming of its building as the Lynda and Stewart Resnick Cultural Center with a weekend of exciting events.

Join us on Sunday, March 26 for a free day of new exhibitions, art-making activities and more! Hammer Members are also invited to a special celebration on Saturday night.

Be among the first to be welcomed through the Hammer’s new main entrance and lobby, with brand-new exhibition spaces featuring large-scale installations by artists Chiharu Shiota and Rita McBride, plus a new outdoor sculpture terrace featuring Sanford Biggers’ 25-foot-tall cast-bronze sculpture Oracle.

The weekend also highlights the largest presentation to date of the Hammer Contemporary Collection, filling nearly every gallery of the museum across multiple exhibitions and installations, including Together in Time: Selections from the Hammer Contemporary Collection.
