826LA@Hammer: Images + Imagination: Poetry Inspired by Collage
- This is a past program
Free collaborative workshops, presented with 826LA, combine writing with creative activities for groups of up to 20 students.
Recommended for ages 8–14.
Reservations encouraged. Visit 826la.org or call 310-915-0200.
Through the art of collage, students will learn how to combine images in their very own work of art. These collages will then serve as the inspiration for students’ own poems that reflect their unique thoughts, interests, dreams, and ideas. Led by writer, workshop facilitator, editor, and creativity coach, Kimberly Lee.
All public programs are free and made possible by a major gift from an anonymous donor.
