Attending a Public Program
ALL HAMMER PROGRAMS ARE FREE
While all of the Hammer's programs are free, many require a ticket. Tickets are available at the Box Office one hour before the program. One ticket per person; first come, first served. Early arrival is recommended. Check individual program pages for more details.
As a benefit for their support, members receive priority ticketing and can choose their seats, subject to availability.
Food and Drink
Food and drink may not be carried into the galleries or the Billy Wilder Theater.
Enjoy a meal or drink before or after the program at our restaurant Audrey. The restaurant is open 11 a.m.–11 p.m. Tuesday–Saturday and 11 a.m.–9 p.m. Sunday. Members and UCLA students receive 10% off. A late-night happy hour offers 10% off at the bar Tuesday–Saturday, 9–11 p.m.
Coat and Bag Check
The Hammer requires visitors to check backpacks, shopping bags, and all large bags at the Welcome Desk, located in the Wilshire Lobby. The Hammer may refuse to accept other items at its discretion and is not responsible for items held at coat check.
The museum offers assistive listening devices (ALDs) for lectures and other programs in the Billy Wilder Theater. These can be picked up at the Box Office; please call 310-443-7020 in advance so that we can ensure availability.
Services such as sign language interpretation and alternate format materials can be arranged. Please contact us at least 10 working days before your visit at 310-443-7020 to discuss your needs.
There are six wheelchair spaces with companion seating in the Billy Wilder Theater. Four are in the back of the theater and accessible from the theater lobby on the courtyard level. Two are in the front row. Inform the box office of your preference and one of our ushers will escort you. For assistance and questions about wheelchair seating, please call 310-443-7020.
