826LA@Hammer: Journaling for Wellness
- This is a past program
Free collaborative workshops, presented with 826LA, combine writing with creative activities for groups of up to 20 students.
Recommended for ages 8–14.
Reservations encouraged. Visit 826la.org or call 310-915-0200.
In this calming and creative workshop, students will explore how writing can support mental health and emotional well-being. Through guided journaling prompts, creative exercises, and open conversation, students will learn how to express their feelings, reflect on their experiences, and develop healthy habits for self-care. Led by educator and Senior Civic Engagement Coordinator at 826LA, Ariana J. Ponce Olivares.
