Depicting the glittery seduction of a mall and the modes of consumption that such spaces encourage, Casual Shopper presents private fantasies and corporate consumer spaces as mutually constitutive. The intoxicating promise of fulfillment offered up by commercial display is called into question in this mesmerizing video.
