Margot Römer made conceptual works using text and objects. Aparato reproductor de la mujer is from a series of works in which she incorporated industrial objects such as urinals, toilet bowls, graters, stoves, faucets, and doors, which she combined with text to create a direct relationship between the object and the human body. It consists of a tall door with a window that the artist painted red. On the upper part is the title of the work in transfer lettering, and below the window is a numbered list of the components of the female reproductive system. On the lower edge of the window is a shelf holding a flowerpot with a phallic cactus. This work, like others from the series, is ironic in its subtle critique of the roles traditionally assigned to women.

Margot Römer realizó obras conceptuales empleando texto y objetos. Aparato reproductor de la mujer es parte de una serie de obras en las cuales la artista incorpora objetos industriales tales como urinarios, pocetas, rayadores,  estufas de cocina,  grifos y puertas, que ella combina con texto para crear una relación directa entre el objeto y el cuerpo humano.  Consiste en una puerta alta con una ventana que la artista ha pintado de rojo. En la parte superior se encuentra el título de la obra en letras transfer y debajo de la ventana hay una lista de los componentes del sistema reproductor de la mujer. En el borde inferior de la ventana hay una repisa que sostiene una maceta con un cactus fálico. Como las demás obras de esta serie, ésta se vale de la ironía para hacer una crítica sutil de los roles tradicionales asignados a la mujer.
