From the Ground Up, with Chris Burroughs

  • to

As part of his Breath(e) project, Grounded, Ron Finley hosts a series of workshops in his temporary garden at the Hammer Museum, led by local artists. Each workshop can accommodate up to 20 participants, with all materials provided by the instructors. Availability is limited and on a first-come, first-served basis, with a sign-up sheet available in the museum lobby starting one hour before the program.

Explore the vital role of soil in supporting life in this hands-on workshop led by Chris Burroughs, master composter, community activist, and founder of the non-profit organization Garden 31. Participants will discover the deep connection between soil health, plant growth, and our well-being and explore how regenerative practices can enrich both the earth and our communities.
