It's the end of the month, so it's time once again for Hammergram! We are fascinated by the photos our visitors take of the objects and spaces at the Hammer. Hammergram is a monthly round-up of our favorite visitor photos in the hopes that it will inspire you to share your own Hammer experience with us.

Throughout Made in L.A. 2016, we'll feature Q&As with several of the artists in the exhibition. In advance of her film screenings here on July 6, we speak to Made in L.A. artist Margaret Honda about Los Angeles and the history of cinema.

In the last few years we have begun to introduce new products from L.A.-based artists and creators at the Hammer Store—a tradition we started with Arts ReSTORE L.A. and are continuing today. We have been working to broaden our offerings to reflect the museum’s commitment to the Los Angeles creative community.

Throughout Made in L.A. 2016, we'll feature Q&As with several of the artists in the exhibition. Next week we screen two films about labor—Matewan and Maquilapolis—a subject close to the heart of Made in L.A. artist and activist Fred Lonidier. Both films will be followed by discussions with the artist.

In advance of his public program on June 21, we asked Aram Saroyan—the author of Made in L.A. 2016’s subtitle—about L.A.'s influence on his work and how he approached creating a poem that set the tone for an exhibition.
