- This is a past program
Using Collective Journey Storytelling students will learn how to plan a story where instead of just one hero doing everything, a whole group works together to make change. Students will create their own story where a community works together, and the audience gets to move through the story like they are inside the adventure.
Led by Justin Stucey, a Los Angeles–based experiential designer and creative producer with a 25-year career spanning collaborations with Walt Disney Imagineering, Meow Wolf, BMW Americas, MTV, and others.
All public programs are free and made possible by a major gift from an anonymous donor.
Major support is provided by Susan Bay Nimoy and Leonard Nimoy, and the Elizabeth Bixby Janeway Foundation. Additional support is provided by the City of Los Angeles Department of Cultural Affairs and all Hammer members.
Digital presentation of Hammer public programs is made possible by The Billy and Audrey L. Wilder Foundation.
Hammer public programs are presented online in partnership with the #KeepThePromise campaign—a movement promoting social justice and human rights through the arts.
Academic Programs at the Hammer Museum are supported by the Elizabeth Bixby Janeway Foundation, the Rosalinde and Arthur Gilbert Foundation, and the Ella Fitzgerald Charitable Foundation.
