The museum will close at 4 pm on Christmas Eve (December 24) and New Year's Eve (December 31), and will be closed all day on Christmas Day (December 25) and New Year's Day (January 1).

826LA@Hammer: I, Me, Mine: First-Person Fictional Monologues

Write your own monologue from the perspective of a fictional character! Students will learn to embody a character of their own creation, and write from that character's perspective. 

Led by UCLA English and Creative Writing Alum, JP Cavender, whose work is published in The Drift Magazine, Necessary Fiction, and the Westwind Journal of the Arts.

Location: Bay Nimoy Studio 
Ticketing: These free collaborative workshops, presented with 826LA, combine writing with creative activities for students ages 8 - 14. Reservations encouraged, spots limited. Visit 826la.org or call 310-915-0200.
