Arts Party is an annual event designed for college students from all over Southern California. Join us for an unforgettable evening with live music, artist-led workshops, and after-hours access to the galleries!
- Music by Grammy-nominated artist BJ the Chicago Kid, Cruza, and Anastazja
- Artist-led workshops by LA Zine Fest, Alicia Piller, and Aneesa Shami Zizzo
- Temporary tattoos by Roberto Euán
- Eight exhibitions on view including large-scale installations by Chiharu Shiota and Rita McBride
- Free cookies from Insomnia Cookies
- Cash bar, photo booth, food trucks, and swag

This event is created for and by college students.
Hammer Student Association (HSA) is a group of UCLA students from diverse disciplines and positions within the Hammer who create programs to connect the museum with a student audience. HSA’s mission for Arts Party is to empower all young people – regardless of what school you go to or how much arts experience you have – to explore the Hammer, find a creative outlet, and enjoy the party.

Bags: Items larger than 12” x 6” x 12” (including purses, bags, and backpacks) will not be permitted. The museum also reserves the right to inspect or prohibit any items deemed to be a security risk.
