An epic saga that has become a cultural phenomenon, Denis Villeneuve’s adaptation of the first half of Frank Herbert’s 1965 sci-fi novel Dune is cinema at its grandest scale. An anticolonial, ecological parable set in the distant future, Dune: Part One features an extraordinary ensemble cast led by a new generation of acting talent (Timothee Chalamet and Zendaya alongside Rebecca Ferguson, Oscar Isaac, and Javier Bardem).
