The Muppets’ big-screen debut tells the story of how the troupe first met with wised-up wit and whimsy to spare. As Kermit treks cross-country from his swampy home to Hollywood, he’s joined by Fozzie Bear, Gonzo, Miss Piggy, The Electric Mayhem, and the rest of the gang. (1979, 35mm, color, 94 min. Dir. The Family Flicks Film Series is copresented by the UCLA Film & Television Archive. Matinee screenings for families and film buffs, featuring new and classic films from around the world.  

ATTENDING THIS PROGRAM?

Ticketing: Admission is free. Your seat will be assigned to you when you pick up your ticket at the box office. Seats are assigned on a first come, first served basis.

Parking: Valet parking is available on Lindbrook Drive for $15 cash only. Self-parking is available under the museum for an $8 flat rate.
