Based on a children’s book by Ian Flemming and adapted by Roald Dahl (Charlie and the Chocolate Factory) with director Ken Hughes, Chitty Chitty Bang Bang soars on all pistons as eccentric inventor Caractacus Potts and his children explore the wide, imaginative world in their very special touring car. The Family Flicks Film Series is copresented by the UCLA Film & Television Archive. Matinee screenings for families and film buffs, featuring new and classic films from around the world.  


Location: Billy Wilder Theater
Ticketing: Tickets are required and available at the Box Office one hour before the program. General admission tickets are available one per person on a first come, first served basis following member ticketing. Early arrival is recommended.
Member Benefit: Members receive priority ticketing (until 15 minutes before the program) by skipping the general admission line and can choose their seats, subject to availability.
Parking:  Under the museum, $6 flat rate on weekends. Cash only.
