The Hammer courtyard turns electric in July when Also I Like to Rock returns for a series of free concerts featuring today’s top emerging bands. Presented in partnership with KCRW 89.9 FM and curated by Buzz Bands LA, two bands per night will perform with KCRW DJs spinning before and between sets. Galleries are open until 9pm.
Featuring DJ Dan Wilcox.
Saint Motel The wildly cinematic indie-pop quartet has stamped itself as one of the most cathartic performers on the Los Angeles scene, marrying its danceable rock with imaginative visuals and bending convention wherever possible. Prepare for a spectacle.
Kitten Frontwoman Chloe Chaidez is only 15 years old, but her quartet’s music—tuneful, edgy, heady pop-rock—already has fans everywhere purring, even without a formal release. The foursome’s shows have revealed a star on the rise.
