Summer Exhibitions Opening Celebration

Celebrate the openings of our summer exhibitions at the Hammer with cash bars, free admission, and galleries open until 10:30 p.m.

Be among the first to see new exhibitions including Refashioning: CFGNY & Wataru Tominaga and David Medalla: In Conversation with the Cosmos, Houseguest: Mute Flesh, and Hammer Projects: Jordan Strafer. Dance in the courtyard to music from DJ Demonslayer (aka Dan Nguyen).

This event is free and open to the public. Become a Hammer Member and receive priority entry to the Opening Celebration.

Members at the Immerse level and above ($250+) are invited to attend the Summer Director’s Reception, prior to the public celebration.

ATTENDING THIS EVENT?

Ticketing: RSVP does not guarantee entry if event reaches capacity. Admission is granted on a first-come, first-served basis.
Parking: Limited parking is available at the museum at a flat rate of $8. Additional event parking is available at 11020 Kinross Ave (UCLA Parking Lot 36) with a flat rate of $6 payable by credit card/cash at the Pay Station or pay by cell phone through the Park Mobile App. Enter Lot 36 from Kinross Avenue between Gayley and Veteran Avenues. The Hammer Museum is located one block east. We encourage visitors to consider biking, public transportation, or ride-sharing.
