Based on Priscilla Presley’s 1985 memoir, Elvis and Me, Sofia Coppola’s film reconsiders Elvis Presley’s story from the perspective of the woman he married, whom he met when he was already one of the biggest singers on the planet and she was a 14-year-old girl. Through Priscilla’s eyes, Coppola tells the unseen side of a great American myth in this deeply felt and ravishingly detailed portrait.
