Flux, Fall 2023

  • This is a past program

The Flux screening series brings the creative community together to celebrate outstanding short films and music videos from around the globe, with wildly inventive filmmaker presentations and performances.

This fall program features the premiere of a new film by AI innovator Paul Trillo and French experimental musician Jacques. The themes of intimacy and longing are explored in Becca Rieckmann's debut short film Admissions of Desire. Eno follows up his hit short The Pitch with Freelancer Yoga, another hilarious look at creativity and the advertising world. We are proud to screen Simone, Aisha Amin's extraordinary profile of a young mother navigating New York's subway system. Jason Lester is back to share his delightful From the Start video for Icelandic singer-songwriter Laufey.

The eclectic lineup of films includes comedy, dance, documentary, music, and animation and features new music videos for Mette, Laufey, Hermanos Láser, Skrillex, The Hives and more.

Special in-person guests include Anderson Wright, Becca Rieckmann, Eno, Jason Lester, Paul Trillo, and Omer Ben Shachar. A courtyard after-party follows with special guest DJ Sonrisita.
