826LA@Hammer: Zines: Art in the Palm of Your Hand

SUN FEB 26, 11 AM

In this workshop, participants become zinesters! Making zines together, they will create their own paper-folded zine booklet of writing and creative collage—art in the palm of their hand. Led by Sam Sermeno, a teaching artist and book nerd who learns something from young people at every turn.

Recommended for ages 8–14

Part of 826LA@Hammer. Free collaborative workshops, presented with 826LA, combine writing with creative activities for groups of up to 30 students. Reservations are encouraged. Visit 826la.org or call 310-915-0200.
