826LA@Hammer: Field Trip to the Future

  • This is a past program

Recommended for ages 9 and up

We’re headed out on a field trip—to the future. Get ready to wonder: What future world is possible?

Participants will spend the morning creating characters out of thin air. Then, we’ll pack their bags and send them on a quest to the future. During our time together, we’ll flex our creative minds and get curious about what we think the future will look and feel like. By the end, we’ll have the option to share and celebrate our quest narratives with one another.

Workshop leader Nicole Stanton is a writer, editor, and teacher from Los Angeles. She has been working for the past three years on developing curriculum and writing exploring the ecological consciousness of contemporary fiction.
