This special live streaming of Paul McCarthy’s iconic video performance Painter (single channel, 1995) is followed by a Q&A between McCarthy and artist Kaari Upson.

Presented on the occasion of Paul McCarthy: Head Space, Drawings 1963–2019, organized by Aram Moshayedi, Robert Soros Curator, and Connie Butler, chief curator, with Ikechukwu Onyewuenyi, curatorial assistant, and Nicholas Barlow, curatorial assistant.
