Family Flicks Film Series: An American Tail
- This is a past program
Recommended for ages 5+*
In this animated musical, Fievel Mousekewitz and his family of Russian-Jewish mice flee the Czarist rule of cats in the 1800s, boarding a boat to America where “there are no cats … and the streets are paved with cheese.” This sweet, tender immigrant tale is a poignant reminder of the importance of family and inclusion, perfect for Father’s Day. (1986, dir. Don Bluth, 83 min.)
*All ages are welcome. Feel free to take a break with infants and toddlers in the theater lobby.
