The Hammer Museum will be closed to the public on Saturday, February 8. The museum is open to Hammer Members from 11AM - 2PM for exhibition previews, and will reopen to the public for our opening celebration at 8PM. Learn More

Diane Madden

Dance trainer Diane Madden gives a brief talk about the Hammer installation Trisha Brown: Floor of the Forest, on view through April 21, 2013. Madden trained dancers from the UCLA World Arts and Cultures (WAC) program to perform the work. Madden has been a member of the Trisha Brown Dance Company since 1980, acting as Rehearsal Director from 1984-2000. She has taught technique, improvisation, composition, and Brown repertory throughout the world, both independently and with the Trisha Brown Company.
