Exhibition Walkthrough: All of this and nothing with Dianna Molzan

  • to This is a past program
Dianna Molzan’s paintings explore established tropes in the language of painting by presenting recognizable historical styles, then attempting to overcome mannerism through radical alterations to the picture plane. Born in Tacoma, Washington, in 1972 and educated at the Universität der Künste, Berlin, Germany; Art Institute of Chicago; and the University of Southern California, Molzan has made cuts into painted canvases, built extrusions atop their surfaces, and exposed their strainers in her eccentrically-hued explorations into the space of painting.

Exhibition walkthroughs are free with museum admission. Parking is available under the museum for $3 for 3 hours.
