Everything and Nothing: Sculpture of the Everyday, Part 1
- to This is a past program
Family Workshop
Using ephemeral and found materials, the artists represented in All of this and nothing turn what may seem like “nothing” into artworks exploring very big ideas—what it means to be an artist, to understand the world, and how to communicate through the shifting life of an object. In this workshop, parents and kids together will engage in artistic processes inspired by the work of these artists, experimenting with found materials, sculpture, ephemera, and activities designed to reveal the immense world of art-making materials that surround them.
There will be a $25 per family refundable registration fee to hold your place for all three workshops. Enrollment is limited; please call Academic Programs at 310-443-7055 or email academicprograms@hammer.ucla.edu to enroll.
