3 Questions with Jibade-Khalil Huffman

Why L.A.? Why did you choose to work in this city in particular? 

The short answer is I came here for school. But I'd been coming here for a few years before that for various projects. Certainly the landscape is conducive to making the kinds of photographs and videos that I make. 

How has your time in L.A. shaped your work?

I guess it's all made me somehow mellower and more angry.

Favorite place in L.A. Go.

I know its not in L.A. proper, but definitely the $2 second-run movie theater in Pasadena. The Huntington Gardens are a very close second.
