Candidate Forums: Your Vote, Our Future

Presented by UCLA in partnership with the North Westwood Neighborhood Council, Spectrum News, West LA Chamber of Commerce, Westwood Community Council, Westwood Neighborhood Council, Westwood Village Improvement Association

The November elections will result in new leadership at the city and county levels, with current City Councilmember Paul Koretz vacating Council District 5, and County Supervisor Sheila Kuehl retiring, leaving an opening for Supervisorial District 3. Hear from the candidates looking to fill these local seats and how they might address important issues including housing and homelessness; public safety; sustainability and transportation; and economic recovery.

This program will take place in the Billy Wilder Theater at the Hammer Museum. It will also be livestreamed.

Ticketing: RSVPs are available for this program but do not guarantee entry. Admission is free. Seats are assigned on a first come, first served basis starting at 6 p.m.
Member Benefit: Members receive priority ticketing until 15 minutes before the program. Learn more about membership.
Parking: Parking is available under the museum. Rates are $7 for the first three hours with museum validation, and $3 for each additional 20 minutes, with a $20 daily maximum. There is a $7 flat rate after 6 p.m. on weekdays, and all day on weekends. Cash or credit card.

Only clear bags or a small clutch will be allowed inside the theater. The clutch may not be larger than 4.5” x 6.5”. The larger clear bag must be 12" by 6" by 12" bag or smaller, made of clear PVC vinyl and easily searched. There is no available bag check.
