Bios

DJ Monalisa has been associated with quality music and events in Los Angeles and across the country for three decades. She supported various DJs, artists, and musicians as both a music promoter and a fan before taking her love of music to the turntables. Her music format is described as “anything with a groove,” ranging from soul, funk, and hip hop to rock, pop, jazz-funk, and world music, but also includes less familiar and undiscovered gems and jams of all genres. Monalisa has a monthly two-hour show on Dublab called Paths Of Rhythm, where she mixes and selects various styles of music. She is a member of Umoja Hi-Fi Soundsystem, KPL All-Stars, Ladies of Sound, and LA’s Motown On Mondays chapter.

The 2024 winner of NPR's Tiny Desk contest, the multi-Instrumentalist producer and artist The Philharmonik brings a revitalizing sense of urgency and musical depth to the shallows of the current mainstream music landscape. Talented and versatile, passionate and personal, The Philharmonik is a refreshingly creative force whether singing, rapping, producing, playing keys, or engineering a session.

olea makes sense of the world through the two things he enjoys most—books and music. With creativity at his core, his purpose is to show that he’s unbound to a single discipline as he recently received a Master's from UCLA and a Bachelor's from UC Berkeley—the ultimate testament that art and education can coexist. Playing SoundCloud gems, R&B, Hip-Hop, Latin, House music and everything in between olea's mission is to show how eclectic his palette truly is.
