826LA@Hammer: Spit That!

Free collaborative workshops, presented with 826LA, combine writing with creative activities for groups of up to 20 students.

Recommended for ages 8–14.

Using influences from hip hop and social justice movements, students will learn the art of channeling their own perspectives through a spoken word piece.

Taught by award winning poet Ravina Wadhwani.
