Maestro James Conlon, world-renowned conductor and music director of the Los Angeles Opera, shares his passion for the legacy of French composer Claude Debussy in conjunction with the Los Angeles Opera’s production of Debussy’s landmark work, Pelléas et Mélisande. Prince Golaud returns home with a mysterious new bride, but wedded bliss soon gives way to suspicion and jealousy as Mélisande grows closer to his half-brother Pelléas in Debussy's one and only opera.
The program will be followed by a reception with Maestro Conlon.
