Hammer Forum: L.A.’s Housing Crisis

During the 2022 mayoral campaign, this city’s housing crisis was perhaps the most hotly debated issue, revealing contrasting viewpoints on what has caused homelessness to spike across the city, and how best to solve the problem and bring shelter to this growing population.

Anna Scott, journalist and creator of the KCRW podcasts Samaritans and City of Tents, moderates a series of Hammer Forums exploring the city’s housing crisis from a range of perspectives, untangling this complex, but ultimately solvable issue.
