The Flux screening series brings the creative community together to celebrate outstanding short films and music videos from around the globe with wildly inventive filmmaker presentations and performances.
We kick off the Year of the Rabbit with the world premiere of Mom from director Najeeb Tarazi, Delicate Spells of Mind, a performance film from renowned artist Lucy McRae, whose work blurs the boundaries of film, art, architecture, design, and technology, and Bianca Poletti's dreamy coming-of-age story I Am Whole. Tajana Tokyo's electric video 6:00 AM for Channel Tres will have you on your feet, while Nick Sokoloff explores the secret lives of museum staffers with his short Osmosis.
Our eclectic lineup of films includes comedy, dance, documentary, music, and animation and includes new music videos for Bonobo, AntsLive, Jean Michel Blais, Sudan Archives, and much more.
Special in-person guests include Lucy McRae, Najeeb Tarazi, Nina Kramer, Nick Sokoloff, Augusta Yr, and Saad Moosajee. A courtyard after-party follows with special guest DJ Frosty (dublab).
