Primary Election Polling Place

The Hammer is an official Vote Center for the California Primary Election, including primaries for the state’s governor, U.S. Senate, and other races.

Regardless of where you live in Los Angeles, you can vote at any Vote Center. Vote Centers also serve as a Vote by Mail Ballot Drop Box Location—no need to wait, simply drop off your voted ballot.

Polling Hours

Early Voting Period: Saturday, May 28–Monday, June 6, 10 a.m.–7 p.m.
Election Day: Tuesday, June 7, 7 a.m.–8 p.m.

Parking is free for voters in the lot underneath the museum (entrance on Westwood Boulevard). Upon arrival, take the elevators from the building lobby to Level 3. The Vote Center is located on the museum’s Annenberg Terrace.

Voters are strongly encouraged to wear a face mask while in line or voting. Masks are required at the Hammer Museum while indoors.

Museum galleries and restaurant are open Tuesday – Sunday, 11 a.m. – 6 p.m. Galleries are closed Mondays. Plan your visit to the museum.
