California General Election Polling Place

The Hammer is an official Vote Center for the California General Election, including for federal, state, and local offices.

Regardless of where you live in Los Angeles, you can vote at any Vote Center. Vote Centers also serve as a Vote by Mail Ballot Drop Box Location—no need to wait, simply drop off your voted ballot.

Polling Hours

Early Voting Period: Saturday, October 29–Monday, November 7, 10 a.m.–7 p.m.
Election Day: Tuesday, November 8, 7 a.m.–8 p.m.

Parking is free for voters in the lot underneath the museum (entrance on Westwood Boulevard or Glendon Avenue). Upon arrival, enter the museum via the entrance on Lindbrook Drive. The Vote Center is located on the museum’s courtyard level.

Masks are recommended at the Hammer Museum while indoors.

Enjoy Hammer exhibitions on Pablo Picasso, Joan Didion, and Bob Thompson while you’re here! Museum galleries are open Tuesday – Sunday, 11 a.m. – 6 p.m. Galleries are closed Mondays. Admission is always free. Plan your visit to the museum.
