Constitution Happy Hour: Impeachment

In the historic second impeachment trial of former President Donald Trump, the House of Representatives adopted one article of impeachment: incitement of insurrection. Is it constitutional to hold an impeachment trial for a former president? What is the standard for impeachable conduct? Learn how an impeachment trial differs from other trials, why the proceedings were not led by Chief Justice John Roberts, and what it means for congressional members to fulfill their role as “impartial jurors.”

In this live Zoom, audience members will have the chance to ask questions aloud or via chat—and hear directly from a constitutional lawyer. So fix a drink and join Loyola Law School professor Jessica Levinson to learn about the proceedings and potential consequences of this important trial.
