ONLINE: Lunchtime Art Talk on Tishan Hsu

WEDNESDAY APR 22, 2020 12:30 PM PDT

While the museum is temporarily closed, Lunchtime Art Talks take place online every Wednesday at 12:30 p.m. The Hammer's curatorial department leads free, insightful, short discussions about works of art from the Hammer's collection.

This talk on Tishan Hsu's Vertical Ooze (1987) is led by curatorial assistant Nika Chilewich.

This live, online program will not be recorded. RSVP below to receive an email reminder with the link to join on the day of the program. The link will also be posted to this webpage two hours before the program.

All public programs are free and made possible by a major gift from an anonymous donor.

Generous support is also provided by Susan Bay Nimoy and Leonard Nimoy, Good Works Foundation and Laura Donnelley, the Elizabeth Bixby Janeway Foundation, The Samuel Goldwyn Foundation, the City of Los Angeles Department of Cultural Affairs, an anonymous donor, and all Hammer members.

Digital presentation of Hammer public programs is made possible by The Billy and Audrey L. Wilder Foundation.

Hammer public programs are presented online in partnership with the #KeepThePromise campaign—a movement promoting social justice and human rights through the arts.
