826LA@Hammer: Once Upon a Video Game

  • This is a past program

Recommended for ages 8–14

If you’ve ever been captivated by the stories in video games, this workshop is for you. Learn about interactive storytelling, see how characters and storylines in video games draw us in, and leave with your very own game idea! Led by Ashlyn Anstee, a storyboard artist and children’s book author and illustrator who has worked for Netflix and Nickelodeon.

Free collaborative workshops, presented with 826LA, combine writing with creative activities for groups of up to 20 students. Reservations are encouraged. Visit 826la.org, or call 310-915-0200.
