In conjunction with her Hammer Projects exhibition, Miami- based artist Jamilah Sabur joins Los Angeles-based artist Michael Queenland in conversation. Sabur, whose work incorporates performance, video, and installation, received her MFA in visual arts from the UC San Diego. Queenland, who works across photography and sculpture, often utilizing found objects, received his MFA from the UCLA School of the Arts and Architecture and participated in the 2018 edition of the Hammer’s biennial Made in L.A.
