Flux, Summer 2018

  • This is a past program

The Flux screening series brings together the creative community to celebrate outstanding short films and music videos from around the globe with wildly inventive filmmaker presentations and performances. Our summer program will include world premieres of Arnaud Uyttenhove's short film Lacrimosa; Zhu/Tame Impala's My Life starring Willow Smith and directed by American Millennial + Elliott Sellers; Kara Durrett's film Bitch Please; and the chance to see the Hiro Murai-directed video for Childish Gambino’s This is America on a huge cinema screen. The evening will also include new music videos for NxWorries (Anderson.Paak and Knxwledge), Bearcubs, Gaz Coombes, Confidence Man, and much more.

Special guests joining us include filmmakers Hiro Murai, American Millennial, Clara Aranovich, Lowell A. Meyer, Tim Nackashi, Saigo no Shudan, Savanah Leaf, Elliott Sellers, Najeeb Tarazi, and Arnaud Uyttenhove. A courtyard after-party will follow with special guest DJ Daniel D'artiste.
