Flux, Fall 2017

  • This is a past program

The Flux screening series brings together the creative community to celebrate outstanding short films and music videos from around the globe with wildly inventive filmmaker presentations and performances. This event marks the 10 year anniversary of Flux at the Hammer. This special evening includes the US premiere of Dann Parry's Birds of a Feather, David Lewandowski's Time for Sushi, and Jessy Moussallem's Roman for Mashrou' Leila. The evening also includes new music videos for Beck, Moses Sumney, Com Truise, Manchester Orchestra, and more.

Special guests joining us include filmmakers Allie Avital, Karrie Crouse, Will Joines, Dori Oskowitz, Ry X, and Dugan O'Neal, among others. Filmmaker presentations and a courtyard after-party, with special guest DJ Captain Planet, follow the screening.

Check out all the fun from ten years of Flux at the Hammer.
