Family Flicks Film Series: Labyrinth
- This is a past program
Recommended for ages 8+*
This coming-of-age musical fantasy features the late David Bowie in one of his most electrifying film roles as Jareth the Goblin King, sorcerer ruler of The Underground. Accompanied by a motley crew of Jim Henson’s creatures, 15-year-old Sarah Williams journeys through a maze of magical lands to rescue her baby brother Toby from Jareth’s dark clutches. Original Bowie songs, stellar hair, and out-of-this-world costume changes make this cult classic the perfect way to pay tribute to the Starman’s genius. (1986, dir. Jim Henson, 101 min.)
*All ages are welcome. Feel free to take a break with infants and toddlers in the theater lobby.
