Can a chair spin like a top? Can you squeeze a chair out of a machine the way you squeeze toothpaste out of a tube? View surprising chair designs in Provocations: The Architecture and Design of Heatherwick Studio and then make a unique seat with the designer Tanya Aguiñiga.

CLOSE ENCOUNTERS

Designed for adults and kids ages 5 and up, these lively drop-in programs encourage families to look closely at art, experiment, and create together.

ATTENDING THIS PROGRAM?

Location: Look for signs or ask a Gallery Ambassador.
Ticketing: This drop-in program is not ticketed.
Parking: Under the museum, $6 flat rate on weekends. Cash only.
