Close Encounters: Strut Your Stuff in the Sculpture Garden
Learn hip-hop moves animated by sculptural forms in the Franklin D. Murphy Sculpture Garden on the UCLA campus with artists from Cheshire Moon’s DANCESCAPE program: Monique Borromeo, Will B. Wingfield, and Noel Bajandas from IV REAL MVMNT; Lementine; Aaron Davis; and performers from CollectiveUth.
The Sculpture Garden is located on the UCLA Campus, just off the 405 freeway at Sunset. A map of the grounds and driving directions are available here. Parking is available in Parking Structure 3. For rates and fees, visit the UCLA Transportation & Parking website.
These lively drop-in programs encourage families to look closely at art, experiment, and create together. Developed with the whole family in mind, these encounters with art are designed for adults and kids ages 5 and up.
Hammer Kids is made possible through the generosity of the Anthony & Jeanne Pritzker Family Foundation.
Hammer Kids has also received funding from supporters and friends of the Hammer Museum’s Kids’ Art Museum Project (K.A.M.P.), an annual family fundraiser. Additional support has been provided by Resnick Foundation, The Rosalinde and Arthur Gilbert Foundation, and the Art4Moore Fund of the Tides Foundation.
