Yearbook Signing Party

  • to This is a past program

If you had your portrait taken for the Hammer Yearbook or you’re curious about a year in the life of the Hammer, we invite you to join us for a yearbook signing party replete with food, drinks, music, and of course, yearbooks! Harrell Fletcher and Adam Moser’s Public Engagement project—Yearbook—is an artist book that captures a year at the museum in the vernacular of a high school yearbook. Participants in the project, including Hammer artists, public program participants, and staff will be on hand to autograph books and enjoy a festive afternoon with visitors in the courtyard.

Books are available in the Hammer Store for $20.00. Members receive a 10% discount.

The Hammer Museum’s Public Engagement program seeks to create a new kind of interactive museum: an artist-driven visitor engagement program that encourages contact among visitors, artists, and Museum staff, and activates spaces in imaginative ways.

The Hammer Museum’s Public Engagement Program is supported through a major grant from the James Irvine Foundation. Additional Support is provided by The Shifting Foundation.
