Sunday Afternoons for Kids: Light Writers and Luchadors

  • to This is a past program

Recommended for ages 8–13

Two young luchadors came to Los Angeles to defend their tag-team title, but they bumped heads during the match and suffered amnesia. They have no memory of their trip, just photographs of themselves all around the city. With the assistance of writer Leo Betancourt, participants will play with perspective and storytelling while reconstructing the tale of the young luchadors.

The Hammer’s free collaborative workshops, presented with 826LA, are designed for groups of up to 20 students. Reservations are encouraged. Please visit workshops.826la.org or call 310-305-8418.

Public programs are made possible by Hammer Members and the generosity of Bronya and Andrew Galef, Good Works Foundation and Laura Donnelley, and an anonymous donor.
