Mark Strand is a former Poet Laureate of the United States and a Pulitzer Prize winner for Blizzard of One. He has written thirteen books of poems, three books on artists, three books for children, and three other books of prose, has published several volumes of translations, and has edited numerous anthologies of poetry. His most recent volumes are Man and Camel and New Selected Poems.

This series of readings is organized and hosted by Stephen Yenser, poet and professor at UCLA and author of The Fire in All Things and Blue Guide.
