  • to This is a past program

In conjunction with the Louise Bourgeois exhibition at the Museum of Contemporary Art, Los Angeles, the Hammer Museum screens Louise Bourgeois: The Spider, the Mistress and the Tangerine (2008, 99 min.). Co-directed by Marion Cajori and Amei Wallach, the film follows the artist as she produces her work, spends time with confidants, and reflects upon the traumatic personal history that informs her practice.

Public programs are made possible by a major gift from Ann and Jerry Moss.

Additional support is provided by Laura Donnelley, Bronya and Andrew Galef, and the Hammer Programs Committee.
