Book Club: No One is Illegal by Justin Akers Chacón & Mike Davis

  • This is a past program
In No One Is Illegal, Mike Davis and Justin Akers Chacón debunk the leading ideas behind the often violent right-wing backlash against immigrants, revealing their deep roots in US history, and document the new civil rights movement that has mounted protests around the country to demand justice and dignity for immigrants. Discussion led by Jennifer Flores Sternad, a PhD candidate in the department of art history at UCLA where she is a Eugene Cota-Robles fellow.
