Amy Hempel is the author of At the Gates of the Animal Kingdom, Tumble Home, and the Dog of the Marriage. She has won several literary awards for her work, including the Hobson Award and a Guggenheim Fellowship.

A series of readings organized by Mona Simpson, author of Anywhere But Here, The Lost Father, and Off Keck Road. Readings are followed by discussions with Simpson.
